When Mike sent Carrie a rose, it immediately caught her attention—and before long, the two found themselves planning their first date at Burton’s Grill in Burlington, Massachusetts. What started as a simple dinner quickly turned into something much more. The conversation flowed effortlessly, the laughter came easily, and it was clear there was something special between them. At the end of the night, Mike walked Carrie to her car, and as he leaned in for a goodnight kiss… Carrie, in true Carrie fashion, panicked and gave him an awkward high five instead. Despite the less-than-smooth ending, they both knew this was just the beginning. And the rest, as they say, is history.

In the heart of Paris, the city of love, Michael planned the perfect moment to ask Carrie to spend forever together. Surrounded by the beauty and magic of the city, he got down on one knee—at which point Carrie immediately realized what was happening, screamed “you’re doing this now?!” and burst into tears. Caught up in the emotion of the moment, Michael completely forgot everything he had planned to say—but somehow, it made the proposal even more perfect. Thankfully, every unforgettable second was beautifully captured by their photographer. And of course, she said yes. 💍✨

When they’re not planning their wedding, you can almost always find Carrie and Michael cheering on the Boston Celtics. From game nights to unforgettable moments at TD Garden, being Celtics fans is something they share and love deeply. Win or lose, they never miss a chance to support their team—and they’re excited to celebrate their next big win together on October 17, 2026. ☘️
