Early November weather can vary from quite warm to somewhat chilly in Savannah. Weather permitting, the closest beach is Tybee Island, about 30 minutes from Downtown Savannah. This is also the only beach in the area where alcohol is permitted. Alternatively, Hilton Head Island is an hour drive. Alcohol is not permitted, more resort-type feel and family-friendly.
