December 31, 2012 started it all. My New Years Eve plan was to cancel my plans! If I had done that, I would not have met my future husband. I’m lucky my mom convinced this homebody to go out and enjoy myself! I went to a party where the only person I knew was the host. I did my best to mingle, played a game of beer pong, and across the kitchen was Jonathan! We locked eyes and tried to play it cool the entire party. Jonathan was excited to be out with his friends, but that didn’t stop us from talking all night. We have been inseparable ever since. March 24, 2019 - My Fiancé Jonathan and I went for a hike in Sands Point Preserve to celebrate our dog Ozzy’s birthday. The weather was perfect and the hike ended at the dog beach. The entire time we were at the beach, Jonathan wanted someone to take a “family photo” of us. Typical me, complained the entire time because I didn’t even wear matching clothes that day. But finally I caved in and let Jonathan give his phone to a stranger while Ozzy and I hung out on a boulder. When he returned to me for the picture, Jonathan asked me to be his wife. Actually - he asked me twice. Because I forgot to answer the first time. We truly believe it was fate that brought us together and we cannot wait to start this next journey as husband and wife!

When we got engaged, we never guessed a pandemic would interfere with all of our big plans. Thank you for your patience, love, and understanding while our plans have changed. We made the decision to elope on 10/31/2020. We had every intention of still having our May 2021 Aruba wedding when we made the decision to elope, but as time went on we didn’t feel it was safe enough yet to ask for our loved ones to travel. We are excited to FINALLY be celebrating our union & cannot wait to party the night away with you!
