Respectfully, attendance to our wedding is by invitation only. Guests who are permitted to bring a +1 have been notified in advance.

Can I bring my kids?

We are unable to accommodate children who are not in the wedding party.

If I can no longer attend the wedding, what should I do?

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, a covered parking garage is available to guests directly across from the Whittemore House for a flat rate of $13.00 for the evening and is first come first served. Valet parking is available at the Dupont Circle Hotel ($42 all day parking and $54 overnight). Please build in time to park and walk to the venue.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Saturday, February 25, 2023. RSVPs will not be accepted after this date.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend guests arrive to the Whittemore House at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. See the Schedule page.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors in the Aggie Wolfe Ballroom. Cocktail hour take place in the Post Drawing Room and The Hamlin Room (indoor), as well as upstairs on the outdoor balcony. The reception will take place indoors in the Aggie Wolfe Ballroom.

Is there a wedding room block?

As of Friday, February 24, 2023 the discounted wedding room blocks are no longer available.

Question

What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner and cake. Guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions please email us to let us know at SmithWedding0325@gmail.com if you did not include it in your RSVP.
