Flight

Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport

The closest airport is Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB). It is conveniently located about 20 minutes from Li Suari Club Village, 10 minutes from the wedding location, and just 5–10 minutes from Olbia, the main city in northern Sardinia — and Leti’s hometown. International Flights If you’re traveling from outside Italy, there are several ways to reach Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB): - Delta Air Lines offers a newly announced nonstop service from New York (JFK) to Olbia, operating multiple times per week starting in May 2026. - ITA Airways and United Airlines operate nonstop flights from San Francisco to Rome (Fiumicino) with easy onward connections to Olbia. - Air France, British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, Iberia, Level, and French Bee offer convenient connections via major European hubs such as Paris, London, Madrid, Barcelona, and Frankfurt. Flights from Italy Several airlines offer direct flights to Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB) from cities across Italy, including Volotea, Ryanair, Aeroitalia, and Wizz Air. If you don’t find a suitable flight to Olbia, you can also fly into Alghero (AHO) or Cagliari (CAG). From either airport, Olbia can be easily reached by car or train.

Travel Note

By Ferry

If you prefer to travel by ferry, Olbia is well connected to mainland Italy. GNV and Grimaldi Lines operate routes from Civitavecchia and Livorno to Olbia, while Moby also offers connections from Genoa, Livorno, Piombino, and Civitavecchia. Ferries are a great option if you’re traveling with a car or a larger luggage. For our friends traveling from Barcelona, there is also a direct ferry route from Barcelona to Porto Torres, operated by Grimaldi Lines. Schedules vary, so please check availability in advance. From Porto Torres you can then continue to Olbia by car or train.

Travel Note

Rental Car

Just outside the airport terminal, you’ll find local buses as well as several car rental services. Available rental companies include Avis, Europcar, Hertz, and Smart Rent, making it easy to get around and explore the area at your own pace.

Travel Note

Visa information

Based on the official Italian government website, most of our guests do not need a visa for a short stay in Italy, except for guests with a Turkish passport. As requirements may change, we recommend checking entry rules based on your nationality before traveling.
