Living in downtown Seattle, Leticia was back in the US working towards her undergraduate degree; Justin, a law student, worked in the city's highest tower, barely half a mile away. After a sprinkle of matchmaking magic, they held hands for the first time on July 4, 2019, beneath a dazzling display of fireworks.

Leticia and Justin knew that they had found in one another the perfect partner to grow old with; Unable to contain their love any longer, the couple got engaged on March 12, 2020.
