Brandon was working second shift at the time. It was a late Monday night - August 28, 2017 - when Brandon came in from work carrying a slender box. Jodie was in bed when he came into the room. Brandon could not wait any longer to ask Jodie to be his bride-to-be, and when he saw she was awake, he seized the moment. Jodie, curious as to what the box could possibly be, asked Brandon what he was doing. Brandon replied, "I knew you were talking about getting a Louisville Slugger to decorate your new office, so I got you one. Jodie anxiously started to open the box. As she opened the box, she realized it was a custom bat with gold engraving. As she read the words "Make my dreams come true..." Brandon got down on one knee. The bat read "Make my dreams come true. Will you marry me?" As you know, she said YES! As a tribute to Brandon's proposal Louisville Slugger bat, we are asking that all the guests who attend our wedding sign a Louisville Slugger at the reception instead of a traditional guest book. We are excited to have you there to be part of our special day!
