Our story started at Indiana University, where we met through mutual friends our freshman year. Over the next few years, we stayed friends, always with a little spark between us. It wasn’t until the world slowed down during COVID that we truly got to know each other. Shortly after our junior year of college began, we started officially dating. We packed a lot into our final two years of college—from acing bowling class together, to meeting each other’s families, exploring every corner of the IU tailgating fields, taking trips in between, and ultimately graduating side by side. After college, Jess moved to Nashville, TN for her first adult job, while Leth began optometry school back at IU. They really mean it when they say distance makes the heart grow fonder. After one long year of distance, Jess was finally able to move back to Bloomington to be with Leth. In April 2025, we got engaged, and since then life has been one big adventure. This year, we’re living across four different states for Leth’s optometry externships, and we wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. We’re so over the moon to marry each other and start the next chapter of our lives together. At the heart of everything, our biggest goal is simple: to make each other happy. We are so grateful for everyone that has played a part in our story, and we are excited to celebrate with you all!
