It all started in the hallway of ECU Medical Center. We both worked there, passing through the same halls, living our own separate stories. One day, a mutual friend introduced us. Funny enough neither of us was impressed. lol!!! There was no spark, no butterflies just a quick introduction and back to our own lives. We went our separate ways thinking that was the end of it. But life had other plans. A couple of weeks later, we ran into each other again, this time at a party. The setting was different, the energy was lighter, and something had shifted. Altrick came up to me and asked a simple question: “Did you work today? How was your day?” It didn’t seem like much at the time, but sometimes the simplest moments are the ones that change everything. That night he couldn’t resist and honestly, neither could I. On a Saturday night he reached out and asked me to meet him at Ribeyes. From that moment on everything just clicked. The conversations flowed, the laughter came easy, and the vibes were nothing but good. What started as two people who didn’t think twice about each other quickly turned into something real, something deep, and something undeniable. As the days passed we grew closer. We learned each other’s hearts, supported one another, and built a love rooted in friendship, trust, and joy. Somewhere between the laughs, the late nights, and the shared moments, Altrick knew I was the one he wanted to spend his life with, and the rest is history.
