Rum Runners Bar & Grille
Located in our same resort just steps off the beach, Rum Runners is a casual option for dining and drinks. Take a quick break from the beach and stop by for a mid-day lunch or kick back and relax by the fire pit (more for aesthetics in May...) at night and listen to live music after watching sunset on the beach! Don't forget to celebrate St. Pete Beach’s world-renowned sunset with FREE beer, wine and a special sunset punch, held daily at 6:00 pm! Jimmy B's Beach Bar
Jimmy B's Beach Bar is one of our favorite beach bars just a half mile walk along the beach from Sirata! Located directly on the Gulf in St. Pete, Jimmy B's is constantly rated one of St. Pete's / Florida's top rated beach bars and is located on a giant wooden deck directly on the beach! Jimmy B's offers a very laid-back vibe with several bar options and live music on the weekends! It is definitely one of our favorite spots to watch sunset, especially because they offer FREE sunset shooters every night! Check out their website below for menu options and additional information!
Crabby Bill's in St. Pete Beach
Walking distance and just two buildings over from the Sirata Beach Resort, Crabby Bills located directly on the Gulf and offers a wide variety of seafood options! The tiki deck/roof is one of our favorite spots to grab a bite or drink while overlooking the beautiful beach! It's also a perfect location to watch the sunset! Bongos Beach Bar and Grille
Just next door on the beach level of Bellwether Beach Resort, check out Bongos Beach Bar for a more laid-back option for lunch, dinner, and/or drinks! Stop in during the day for a mid-beach lunch break, or come back later at night to kick back with live music and your toes in the sand! Level 11
Located just next door on (just as it sounds) the 11th floor of the Bellwether Beach Resort, Level 11 is a gorgeous 360-degree rooftop bar directly on the Gulf and providing beautiful views overlooking the beach, inner-coastal, and city. We highly recommend stopping here for a small plate/bite or drink for sunset or after the sun goes down for a fun, adult-centric, nightlife vibe with live music and cool entertainment lighting! Spinners Rooftop Revolving Bistro
Of only about 40 revolving restaurants in the country, Spinners Rooftop Grille (located next door above Level 11 in Bellwether Beach Resort) is a unique dining experience where you can enjoy 360-degree views of the Gulf, inner-coastal, and city all while seated for dinner! Spinners is a more upscale dining experience and typically requires reservations weeks in advance. However, if you get the chance to snag a seat and splurge a little, we guarantee you will not be disappointed! Salty’s Tiki Bar and Beach Lounge
If you're looking for a classic and refreshing beach cocktail, Salty's Tiki Bar (part of Tradewinds Island Resort) won't let you down! It's the perfect spot to keep your toes in the sand and kick back on a comfortable resort lounger while cooling down with your refreshing drink! We suggest going for the 'Summer Size' option (32 oz. which can enjoyed by yourself or split between 2) which comes with a souvenir cup to take home (if your luggage allows)! Don't forget to play their Ring Game (otherwise known as Tiki Toss, Bimini Ring Game, Ring on a String, Ringing the Bull, etc.) and let us know how long it takes to score! Florida Orange Groves Winery
If fruity/citrusy wine is what you crave while sitting on the beach, we highly recommend checking out Florida Orange Groves Winery (just over the inner-coastal bridge into St. Pete Beach). Although not your typical countryside/onsite winery, Florida Orange Groves offers over 40 different types of fruit-flavored wines (from Grape, to Banana, Watermelon, Mango, Guava, Passion Fruit, Key Lime, and much more!), perfect for a hot and sunny day on the beach! Polynesian Putter
If you love mini golf (with drinks) as much as us and are looking for a fun competition, walk across the street to Polynesian Putter for a cheap round of putt putt! Though small and maybe not as challenging or extravagant as other courses, we promise that it will not disappoint! Grab your favorite drink (or two) and a tumbler and have some competitive fun for just $6/person! The owner is incredibly friendly and will be excited to have you! Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf
If you're looking for a more challenging and competitive mini golf course, we recommend traveling up to Madeira Beach to play a round at Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf! You can play 18 unique holes of elevation and expedition that take you through pirate ships, caves, waterfalls, and more! Grab a beer at the check in and let the adventure begin. Fort DeSoto County Park
For the outdoor enthusiasts looking for a more natural, less commercial beach/park option, Fort Desoto is the largest park system in Pinellas County consisting of 1,136 acres of five interconnected islands/keys. Rent a kayak or paddle-board, rent a bike, hike a nature trail, tour the fort, or just enjoy more of Florida's West Coast white, sandy beaches just 20 minutes south of Sirata! Chances are high that you'll spot some dolphins or manatees! Check out their website below for additional information!

St. Pete Pier™
One of St. Pete's newest/remodeled attractions is the St. Pete Pier located directly on Tampa Bay in Downtown St. Petersburg! As the website states, it's more than just a PIER, it's an exPIERience! The St. Pete Pier offers 26 acres of shops/vendors, art, restaurants, parks, beach access, live music, events, etc. all seamlessly connected on a single, waterfront walkway! We suggest grabbing a beer/drink to-go at one of the pier's several restaurants to enjoy while strolling through vendors and exploring everything that the pier has to offer! Make sure you stop at Pier Tiki Rooftop bar at the very end of the pier for gorgeous views of Tampa Bay and Downtown St. Pete! We promise you won't be disappointed! Located directly alongside Tampa's Channelside, Sparkman Wharf provides an outdoor experience with a little bit of everything! Located directly alongside the Hillsborough River near the heart of Tampa, Armature Works is a multi-use building and event space boasting a variety of local eateries! This large area of land along Tampa's Riverwalk offers plenty of fun options for food, drink, and play! We highly recommend checking out M.Bird rooftop bar for gorgeous views of the river and city, or stopping next door to Ulele to kick-back and relax!
