Jimmy B's Beach Bar is one of our favorite beach bars just a half mile walk along the beach from Sirata! Located directly on the Gulf in St. Pete, Jimmy B's is constantly rated one of St. Pete's / Florida's top rated beach bars and is located on a giant wooden deck directly on the beach! Jimmy B's offers a very laid-back vibe with several bar options and live music on the weekends! Located just next door on (just as it sounds) the 11th floor of the Bellwether Beach Resort, Level 11 is a gorgeous 360-degree rooftop bar directly on the Gulf and providing beautiful views overlooking the beach, inner-coastal, and city. Of only about 40 revolving restaurants in the country, Spinners Rooftop Grille (located next door above Level 11 in Bellwether Beach Resort) is a unique dining experience where you can enjoy 360-degree views of the Gulf, inner-coastal, and city all while seated for dinner! Spinners is a more upscale dining experience and typically requires reservations weeks in advance. However, if you get the chance to snag a seat and splurge a little, we guarantee you will not be disappointed! If you're looking for a classic and refreshing beach cocktail, Salty's Tiki Bar (part of Tradewinds Island Resort) won't let you down! It's the perfect spot to keep your toes in the sand and kick back on a comfortable resort lounger while cooling down with your refreshing drink! We suggest going for the 'Summer Size' option (32 oz. which can enjoyed by yourself or split between 2) which comes with a souvenir cup to take home (if your luggage allows)! Although not your typical countryside/onsite winery, Florida Orange Groves offers over 40 different types of fruit-flavored wines (from Grape, to Banana, Watermelon, Mango, Guava, Passion Fruit, Key Lime, and much more!), perfect for a hot and sunny day on the beach! If you love mini golf (with drinks) as much as us and are looking for a fun competition, walk across the street to Polynesian Putter for a cheap round of putt putt! Though small and maybe not as challenging or extravagant as other courses, we promise that it will not disappoint! Rent a kayak or paddle-board, rent a bike, hike a nature trail, tour the fort, or just enjoy more of Florida's West Coast white, sandy beaches just 20 minutes south of Sirata! The St. Pete Pier offers 26 acres of shops/vendors, art, restaurants, parks, beach access, live music, events, etc. all seamlessly connected on a single, waterfront walkway! We suggest grabbing a beer/drink to-go at one of the pier's several restaurants to enjoy while strolling through vendors and exploring everything that the pier has to offer!
