The Reception

We met sometime in March of 2014, back when Instagram was at its peak. We each remember the beginning a little differently, but this is the short version. We don’t remember how we first became friends on Instagram, but we had mutual friends, and we commented on each other’s photos back and forth, long before direct messages existed. One day, DeMarko sent Codi his number, and the rest was history. We remained close friends for years, and whenever DeMarko visited Detroit, we would go out. In August of 2023, we found ourselves on the same page, and we have not missed a beat. In July of 2024, Codi moved to Tallahassee. May of 2025 we bought a house and two months later we got engaged. We will become one on May 1, 2026 in an intimate ceremony. We are so excited to celebrate our union with you all!
