Way back in November of 2020, Mark and Julia met each other in the most romantic way possible; the Hinge dating app. After texting for a couple of weeks, they decided to give the first date a go! Due to Covid restrictions, the plan was to go for a wine walk in Old Town. The Windy City lived up to half its reputation, and the two had a change of plans due to a wind advisory. With N-95s flying around in the air, the two thought it would be best to meet at one of their apartments. After a bottle of wine and some mediocre sushi, these two crazy kids realized they had much more in common than they had seen in past dating app experiences. Fast forward to January 2023, when Mark proposed in Colorado on their first night there. After telling everyone in the states of Minnesota and Illinois beforehand, it was finally time to reveal this well-kept secret to Julia. Mark got down on one knee after dinner, and Julia's first reaction was, "Oh shit!" Of course, she eventually said, "Yes!" and then they both proceeded to get very drunk at the Blue Moose in Beaver Creek Village. Fast forward to the present day, where Mark and Julia are currently planning their wedding for all their favorite people to come together to celebrate!
