What Should I Wear?

Answer

Somewhere between cocktail attire and a soft semi-formal. No tux's or ball gowns necessary. Dress pants and jackets recommended. Ties optional. Season appropriate dresses. The event space is indoor/outdoor and Fall in Northern Michigan can be tricky. Please avoid bright/ neon colors, jeans, or shorts. When it comes to footwear... the ceremony area is off of a paved path onto a small area of mulch, but the rest of the venue is on solid ground.

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

You have so many options when it comes to places to stay! There are hotels and motels, AirBnb's and VRBO's, campgrounds and friends houses. Our wedding will be in Grawn (about 20-25 minutes from downtown Traverse City). With that in mind you can book close to BlueBridge Events, or book something closer to downtown Traverse City and make a vacation out of the weekend. We recommend booking a place to stay as early as possible. Although tourist season will be slowing down in Traverse it will not be completely over yet.

Are Children Invited?

We are hosting an adults only ceremony and reception. Plan ahead, book a sitter, and come enjoy yourselves!

What Is Parking Like?

Answer

The parking lot at BlueBridge Events Centre is large and separates two wedding venues. Our venue is the BLUE venue. There will be signs to direct you accordingly. The venue staff said they have never had an issue with parking!

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 5pm so please be there and seated by 4:50pm.
