We finally found each other! We’re getting married with a Star Wars theme!

We started chatting on a dating app, Zoosk, and that progressed to texting the next day. He had to text me first because I didnt want to text and wake him since he worked nights. We texted half the day and quite a while that night too.

We had planned on meeting in Weatherford that day but she had a doctors appointment in Mineral Wells. So we agreed to meet for lunch at Ichiban's in Mineral Well. I arrived a little early, little did I know its was just the beginning of my waiting.... She pulled into the parking lot and as she went to park......BAM... she hits the curb. We had a wonderful lunch of sushi and talked quite a bit. we then headed to the local park where we talked alot more and got to know quite a bit about each other. it was the best day....

Leslie had done one of those games on Facebook and said she would get a proposal on Christmas. But I thought a proposal at midnight New Year’s Eve would be better. So as the clock passed midnight I give her a big kiss then got down on one knee and with my kids help, they asked “Leslie, would marry our dad?” She said "yes'
