This is one of our favorite food halls in Atlanta serving a range of global flavors from Thai and Japanese to Latin and Southern comfort. We highly recommend the jerk chicken or the ox tail with rice and peas from Irie Mon Cafe or a kebab from Sahirah Kebab & Curry. Whatever you choose, you cant go wrong. There is also a 1970's disco style speakeasy. If you're lucky you will find JoJo's Beloved Cocktail Lounge hidden toward the back of the food hall. Parking: The food hall is next to The Starling Hotel and share the same parking deck.
After walking around Piedmont Park make sure to stop by this local neighborhood bar on your way out. This was the second stop we made on our first date! This is a great spot to grab lunch and drinks. Parking: You can park in the parking deck at the Starling Hotel and take a 6 min walk down the block or you can street park.
Piedmont Park is basically Atlanta's backyard. The place where everyone ends up sooner or later. It sits right in the middle of the city surrounded by Midtown high-rises. For a true Piedmont Park experience, grab coffee or food nearby, wonder around without a plan, and sit on the grass until you lose track of time. Parking: You can park on the street around the park or in the parking deck located at 1301 Monroe Dr NE.
