We knew of each other in high school but we officially met where all young Southeast Texans met, Dixie Dance Hall! It was Christmas Break 2011, I was home from school and Payton was there, not dancing. I saw him timidly sitting against the wall laughing with his friends and made it my mission to get him dancing. I taught him how to two-step and we exchanged phone numbers that night!
