I was working with a patient/friend of mine, David Beamer. During our visit, he brought up the topic of this girl that “runs his life” ie regional manager for Dutch bros! He went on about how awesome she is, and how she deserves someone amazing just like myself! I told him I wasn’t interested😂 in my defense I was about to start therapy and wanted to go into it with a clear head! 4 months later, I get a notification on hinge. Who could it be but Leslie! Within a couple days we went on our first date to maple counter. The next night I invited her over for dinner, and from then on we have barely been apart. Leslie in my mind is a loving, extremely attractive, and what one would call a pure soul. She constantly pushes me to be a better partner, but is there when I need reassurance and support. We have figured out a balance that allows the love we share to keep growing and changing as we do and I think that alone is more than worth any hard times and heartache that may come our way in this crazy world. I have found the person for me. ❤️
Our paths first crossed thanks to my boss, David, who became convinced his new chiropractor, Paul, and I were a perfect match. For weeks, David was in both of our ears, trying to play Cupid. Paul even made an attempt to stop by my workplace, but I was too nervous to say hello, and nothing came of it. Four months later, in October, I decided to give dating apps another chance. While swiping on Hinge, I stumbled upon a cute cowboy on a horse who looked incredibly familiar: Paul! I "liked" his photo, and he messaged me that same day. We connected instantly over texts, and a date was set for the following Saturday. Our first date at Maple Counter was filled with easy conversation, all my nervousness disappeared. We talked and laughed for hours, bonding over David's hilariously failed but ultimately successful attempt at being Cupid. My face hurt from smiling so hard! As we drove home, Paul sealed the deal with a text: "I will not be leaving the ball on your side of the court. I had such a great time and I would like to see you again." I drove home with a permanent smile on my face. They say timing is everything, and I never truly understood that until I met Paul. I'm so thankful our lives crossed exactly when they did, it's been a dream come true. He is my calm in the midst of any storm. He is my best friend, my rock, and my home. Every day with this kind, selfless, and genuine man is a gift and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. I love you honey ❤️
