This is real, this is happening!

We met working together at Twisted Root Burger Co in Deep Ellum in Dallas in 2009. We were both in relationships with other people so our friendship blossomed as strictly platonic. We both moved on from Twisted Root and continued to keep in touch over the years always wishing each other a happy birthday, asking for advice, or just saying hi. In early 2015 both of us were at a crossroads in our lives and like many times before I reached out. Paul and I chatted over the internet day and night but didn't actually meet up again for a few months. One night shortly after reuniting I was at Paul's apartment and it was late and all I wanted him to do was kiss me so I could go home and go to sleep! I was just about to call it a night when Paul started talking about timing. How it's all about timing. Paul is also a drummer, so timing is very prevalent in his life. Then it happened. He finally kissed me! We moved pretty quickly from there and moved in together after just a few short months. In our nearly 7 years together we have had 7 address changes, got 3 new cars, we adopted our kitty Malibu Stacy, found Lou, said goodbye to Cosmo, and made the coolest kiddo in the world Quincy! We have been through tragedy and lost loved ones, we've stood together at the Garden of the Gods and felt invincible, we've held each other during the hard times and celebrated each other in times of happiness. We have built ourselves a beautiful life full of ups and downs and love and life. And as far as this wedding goes...it's about dang time! We can't wait to celebrate with you. It's going Downs!
