Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We’d love for our guests to follow a dress code for the following events: Welcome Party: Dressy casual – think elevated but comfortable! For women, sundresses, nice tops with skirts or dress pants, and polished but relaxed outfits are perfect. For men, collared shirts, polos, nice jeans or dress pants, and loafers or dress shoes work well. Ceremony & Reception: Cocktail attire – dress to impress! Midi or knee-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, and blazers are all great choices. For all other activities throughout the weekend, there is no specific dress code—feel free to dress comfortably! Weather & Packing Tips: Blairsville in May is typically warm during the day and cooler in the evenings. Highs range from 72°F to 78°F, while lows can drop to 50°F to 58°F. We recommend packing light, breathable outfits for daytime and layering with a sweater or jacket for the evenings. Comfortable shoes are also a good idea if you plan to explore!

Question

How will meals work for the weekend?

Answer

Each cabin at Paradise Hills Winery Resort & Spa has its own kitchenette, so you’re welcome to bring your own groceries and cook in your cabin if you’d like! If you need to stock up on food, here are some nearby grocery stores: Ingles Markets – A full-service grocery store with everything you need. Sunrise Grocery – A charming little country store with fresh produce, local goodies, and famous boiled peanuts. Walmart Supercenter – A convenient option for groceries and other essentials. We’ve also got two group meals covered for you: Friday Night Welcome Dinner – A BBQ feast to kick off the weekend! Saturday Night Wedding Reception – A delicious Italian dinner while we celebrate! For other meals, you’re welcome to cook in your cabin or check out some great local restaurants in Blairsville: Hole In The Wall – A classic diner serving all-day breakfast. The Sawmill Place – Southern comfort food made with local ingredients, open for breakfast & lunch. Cook’s Country Kitchen – A cozy spot for breakfast all day and classic American comfort food. Vincent’s CopperTop Restaurant & Pub – A laid-back spot for pub food and drinks. Sweet Pea’s Downtown Eatery – A great local choice with fresh, home-cooked meals. The Aviator Cafe – A casual deli-style cafe with fresh sandwiches and salads. El Manzanillo – A solid Mexican spot with all your favorites. Lucky’s Taqueria & Cantina – A fun Mexican restaurant with great tacos and margaritas.

Question

Are there any travel tips for getting to the resort?

Answer

Yes! We highly recommend arriving during daylight hours if possible. The road leading up to Paradise Hills Winery Resort & Spa is windy and can be tricky to navigate in the dark—especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area. A few other travel tips: Use GPS, but double-check directions ahead of time—cell service can be spotty in the mountains. Drive carefully and take your time on the last stretch of the trip. Pack a flashlight or use your phone’s light if you’ll be unloading bags after sunset.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. We’ll be happy to coordinate with our caterers to make sure you're taken care of!
