Matthew and Leslie’s tale started back in 2011 long before they knew it would begin. Both of these humans decided the best choice after college would be to attend a program in Greenville SC teaching them all about the world of Cardiac Rhythm Management. After learning that Matt was an avid scuba diver and had been dating the same girl since high school and Leslie was an avid hunter with no serious aspirations they both chose to say hey during class and move on. But little did they know their paths would be crossing again ten years later. Leslie moved away to many different states through the years pursuing her place in the cardiac world. Matthew headed straight for Pensacola and began his career. As time passed and many life events for both people the pandemic hit. Leslie’s company was desperate for help in the panhandle area and being the adventurer she is it was not problem for her to jump on the opportunity to go to the beach to help. After finishing a case at the hospital she noticed a cute boy hanging out in the control room but naturally she wasn’t going to say anything. So she packed up her stuff and headed to the truck she noticed he followed her outside so she was like yes he is going to talk to me. But sadly no he just had to get something out of his truck :(. However the scene wasn’t over yet!! Leslie’s coworker called her back inside to cover something else and when she walked in there he was. She noticed his scrubs had a name written on them. Mwahahahaa she thought now I can try and stalk him on Facebook. Then she read the name “Matthew Kinkead” and was like ahhh heck! I know him. They then proceeded to re introduce themselves and catch up briefly. Fast forward a couple of months and Leslie’s company decided they need a full time person to move to Pensacola and so she excitedly takes the offer to move to the beach. Her thoughts led her back to Matthew and she decided to reach out. The two texted back and forth for the 4 months before she moved and once she arrived in Pensacola Matthew invited her out on the jet ski and the rest is history!! Many many laughs memories and travels have occurred since then and we can’t wait to continue our story for the rest of our lives!
