Nos vamos a casar!

We'd like to add that we are in fact, not high school sweethearts. Our first real memory of each other was glaring at each other across our table in Coach Terry's 8th grade algebra class. We found each other odd, and only got along at the behest of our best friend Leo. We had mutual friends and classes together in high school, but vastly different interests took us in opposing directions. Luis ended up in Anchorage, Alaska on a military base, and Leslie was just down the road from Waco, in College Station, stressing over homework. It wasn't until nearly five years later when both of us coincidentally decided to move back to Waco at nearly the same time, that we reconnected. Shoutout to Twisted Sisters Bar downtown for letting that happen. We hung out with friends on two occasions after that, but on Christmas Day, we went on our first date. From that day forward, there hasn't been a day where we haven't seem each other, or spoken to each other. Thank you Uncle Sam for giving Luis a reason not to reenlist, and shoutout TAMU for letting Leslie go to school online. Life works in funny ways, and its hard to know where, and with who you'll end up. And we’re forever grateful it turned out this way.
