COVID 19 INFO & FAQ

Question

What about COVID!?

Answer

The coronavirus pandemic will still likely be a topic of concern during our wedding. We have been coordinating with our venue, and in our best case scenario, we will be limited to 130 guests. We have asked to limit the amount of children that attend to ensure that we can meet this requirement imposed by the state our venue. We hope that vaccines will be widely available to majority of the public by our wedding. It is reassuring that most of our medically vulnerable guests will have recieved their vaccines along with a number of our attendees who work in healthcare and/or essential workforce. Needless to say, a gathering of this size is not without risk and we want you all to feel as safe as possible. Please do not feel pressured at all to attend if you feel uncomfortable regarding your health. Additionally, masks likely will be required for our event. State specific data can be found at covid19.colorado.gov. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Question

What if I don't feel safe coming to an event right now?

Answer

We want all of our friends and family to feel comfortable celebrating. If this means you would rather stay home this May, we would be delighted to celebrate our friendship with you in future, no hard feelings!

Question

What to expect at the wedding (COVID)

Answer

This is the most up-to-date guidance from our venue. These are subject to change and we will update this section regularly. Masks: The statewide mandate is still in effect through the end of April and will likely be in place for the wedding, even for vaccinated individuals. Once you are seated at your table, you may remove your mask to eat/drink. If you are outdoors and can socially distance, the mask may be removed. Masks may be removed for your ceremony and also during your “special” dances (first dance/parent dance/s). Seating: Tables will be spaced apart as well as 8-10 individuals per table. We will try our best to seat family "pods" together. Dancing: Open dancing is restricted to no more than 6 people from the same party (i.e. from the same dining table). This means that 1 pod of 6 can be spaced away from another pod of 6 (with 6’ in between the groups). We are estimating that 6 or 7 dance pods will be able to dance at one time.

Question

How far is the airport

Answer

It's a thirty minute trip from downtown via car, and an hour from Golden. There is a train (A line) that takes you to the airport in a similar amount of time for around $11. It starts at Union Station downtown.

Question

What to wear

Answer

Welcome to Colorado. The weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend having layers if there is a slight chill (or snowstorm). Our wedding attire is garden cocktail.

Question

How to get to the venue

Answer

We will have a shuttle from the hotels, however, you can easily access the venue from Golden. Take the Genesse Park (Exit 254) and turn left, then turn left on Genesse Trail Rd. Take the second right turn onto Park Point Drive which will take you up to a roundabout, the venue is at the end of the drive from the second exit of the roundabout. Extra parking is on the third exit.

Question

What is the venue smoking policy

Answer

The venue does not permit marijuana use. Smoking tobacco is prohibited when there is a fire ban, a smoking area is located outside of the venue when local fire ordinance permits.

Question

Are pets allowed

Answer

The venue does not allow animals on site. Please check with the hotel regarding animal accomodations.
