Our wedding will take place on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 in Antigua, Guatemala. The ceremony and reception will be at Pensativo House Hotel.

Yes! We’ll be hosting a welcome/rehearsal dinner the evening before the wedding on Friday, February 6, 2026. The event will take place in San Vicente Pacaya. Shuttle service will be provided to and from Antigua. Pick-up will be at Hotel Casa Santo Domingo—please be there by 3:45 PM.

The closest airport is La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City. Antigua is about a 1–1.5 hour drive from the airport.

February is part of Guatemala’s dry season. Expect sunny days and mild evenings, with temperatures around 70–80°F during the day and cooler at night.

Yes — U.S. dollars are widely accepted in Antigua, especially at hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas. However, change may sometimes be given in Guatemalan Quetzales (GTQ), so it’s useful to carry a mix. There are also many banks and ATMs throughout Antigua, making it easy to withdraw quetzales if needed. Just be sure to notify your bank before traveling to avoid any card issues.
