Our Story
We first met after a CIF high school basketball game—when Julio worked up the courage to walk up & say hello.
From the beginning, our connection felt natural. We’re homebodies at heart—happiest meal planning for the week, experimenting with DIY desserts, watching Netflix, doing yoga, & working out.
Julio fell in love with Leslie’s constant drive — her itch to be productive & her desire to challenge herself to grow. Leslie fell in love with the way Julio effortlessly became her safe place and confidant.
When it came time to propose, Julio decided to do it in an unforgettable way. During a helicopter ride overlooking Los Angeles—flying over Malibu & Downtown—he asked Leslie to spend forever together. In the sky above the city, she said yes.
We are most excited to build a family together — to fuse our best qualities into our marriage & into our children. This is just the beginning of the life we’ve always prayed for, & we’re so grateful to celebrate it with you.
