So shoutout to Dr. Michael Krop High School because that's where we met in 10th grade Biology! But I'll fast forward to the details y'all care about...Let me paint the picture. It was the Summer of 07 and I had just finished watching a Harry Potter movie at Aventura AMC. I was walking out and I saw a familiar face amongst a group of boys. So I did a double take and Jovani & I made eye contact. But I was going shopping, so I kept it moving. Priorities LOL. I remember texting Denecha, "Girl I think I just saw the cute boy from our Biology class!". Next thing I know, I had a message in my Myspace DMs (Is that what they were called back then?!) that read "Yooo". *Major Eyeroll* Lol we've been connected ever since!

So boom 💥 It was the last day of our anniversary weekend and I told Leslie I had a surprise for her. She asked me where we were going and I told her the movies! She said “movies”?!! “Yes movies”!! Little did she know I had our friends and family waiting for us. Thanks to Covid I got a great discount to rent out the theater (I love discounts). I coordinated with Wayne to play Love and Basketball once we entered. So the movie starts and she asks "What is this?" and then the slideshow I put together comes on. She started melting. Then the lights came on and our family came out from hiding! I pulled out the ring got on one knee and asked her “ Hey baby will you be my wife?” She did two front flips and a cartwheel and she said Yes!!! True story…
