Question

Traveling to Hawaii?

Answer

Great! We are excited to celebrate with you! Before you go, please review Hawaii travel requirements here: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/faqs/ It has a lot of important information. If you have any questions ask away!

Question

Do I need to get a Covid test?

Answer

Yes! A Covid-19 test must be taken within 72 hours from the last leg of your flight to Hawaii (ex: California). If your test comes back positive, I recommend either re-testing or cancelling your flight as a 10-day quarantine is highly enforced in Hawaii. Recommended Tests: Rapid Diagnostic Test (Red dot) by Walgreens. Results back within a couple hours. Appointment required. https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/covid19/testing Important to note: Hawaii only recognizes tests from it's trusted partners. Find the full list here: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/

Question

I'm fully vaccinated (Covid), do I still have to take the Covid test?

Answer

Yes, as of April 27th. There has been discussion of a "vaccine passport" for Oahu, however, nothing official has been released.

Answer

As of April 27, 2021, Oahu is in "Tier 3" of re-opening. Social gatherings are limited to 10 people. Attractions and museums are open. Masks are mandatory. Answer

June 2nd-June 11th. We plan to be in the Waikiki area only until June 6th.

Question

By when do I need to RSVP?

Answer

By April 10th. This is very important as it is to facilitate any gatherings we have during our stay (Ceremony and other). Please RSVP by selecting the RSVP page above.

Question

Is there a Hotel Wedding Block?

Answer

There will not be a hotel wedding block so guests have flexibility in hotel arrangements. Our hotel will be in the Waikiki area as required by our wedding package.

Question

Best vacation rates?

Answer

Best prices seem to be from vacation packages which bundle flights and hotel. Check out Expedia, Airline websites, Costco Travel, or any other membership travel sites you may have. Same goes for rental car. I've heard Costco has great rates.

Question

Flights are booked. What else do I need to know?

Answer

To get through the airport, every adult will have to follow several steps. 1. Create an account on: https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/ 2. Create a "Trip" itinerary for your flight to Hawaii. 3. Upload your negative covid test result. 4. Fill out a questionnaire within 24 hours of your flight. 5. Receive a QR code to be scanned at the airport.

Question

Answer

Yes. As of April 27th, Oahu has increased the maximum guest count to 30 people for beach weddings.
