The Queen Mary is currently a permanently docked ship located in Long Beach, CA. In 1934, it was once one of the most luxurious ocean liners in the world. During WWII, it was converted into a ship to transport soldiers. The Queen Mary is also considered one of the most haunted places in America. The ship now serves as a floating hotel, museum, and landmark.
The Queen Mary is a museum. Please explore the ship/museum to learn about the history before coming to the reception! All guests have included museum access.
Reception: Modern wedding theme. Dress code is semi formal/garden formal. Colors, pastels, patterns, or florals! Anything you are comfortable in to wear in the California summer weather. Ceremony: Shoulders should be covered while inside church
The church/ceremony is inside. The park will be outside. The Queen Mary will be inside with the deck being open if guests wanted to step outside. The bar will be located outside. Please- no smoking of any kind even on the deck.
Ceremony: The church will have free street parking available around the perimeter of the church and the streets across/over. Park: There are multiple free large parking lots within the park. Reception: The Queen Mary has it's own large secure parking lot. Once parked, you will enter the boat through the main doors. Dinner will be a buffet. All items are peanut/tree nut-free. We will have gluten-free dessert options as well.
