Question

What about COVID?

Answer

In order to protect the health and safety of all attendees, those servicing the wedding, and those we all may come in contact with while traveling, we are requiring all of our guests to be vaccinated. If you need help coordinating your vaccination, please contact your local health department or Leslie would be happy to help. Vaccination information: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/index.html

Question

Am I invited to all events?

Answer

Yes! Everyone is welcome to join for all events listed on our website! We would love if you could come to all to meet and mingle with all of our wedding guests!

Question

Should I be nervous about the elevation?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding venue is at 9,000ft elevation which means you will need to hydrate and make sure to not over-indulge! If possible, we encourage everyone to come out a little early to try to acclimate to the altitude prior to the wedding. We will have supplemental oxygen for those who may need it and lots of electrolyte supplements for all. Here is some additional info on travel to high altitude destinations: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/page/travel-to-high-altitudes

Question

Do I need to arrange housing?

Answer

Please see the Travel page. If you have not been notified that there is an option for you to stay onsite then please book housing accodringly.

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Sadly, no. Deer Creek Mountain Camp is in the woods and has a sensitive ecosystem so we ask that you do not bring your dog to any event onsite.

Question

Should I wear heels?

Answer

If you choose to wear heels please only wear block heels. Flats are highly encouraged--we don't anyone to break an ankle!

Question

What kind of alcohol will you have?

Answer

We will have a plethora of wine and beer selections available throughout the weekend. If you absolutely need another type of alcohol, feel free to bring it with you -- you are free to drink anything you bring throughout the weekend. We would like to remind you that our venue is at 9,000 ft elevation. Those of you who have not had time to acclimate to high altitudes (and the subsequent dehydration and reduced oxygen levels) will be less ably equipped to effectively process alcohol.
