We're getting married!

Leslie and Ethan met during their first year of optometry school in NYC. They were one of each other's first friends in the small class of 98 students. They happened to sit next to each other in the lecture hall one day and it simply began from there. For the rest of the semester, they continued to sit next to each other. Their friendship only grew throughout the year, eventually blossoming into romantic interest. However, by the time their interest peaked, so did the pandemic. COVID-19 hit that March of 2020 and everything shut down. Luckily for Leslie and Ethan, their communication did not end. They communicated almost daily thanks to the close proximity of their houses during this shutdown period. Lo and behold, the two were able to start their relationship officially even in the midst of the pandemic. The quarantine was disastrous for most of NYC at that time, but for Leslie and Ethan, it felt like a period full of butterflies and happiness. Fast forward to June 2023, 1 month post-graduation, Leslie and Ethan finally took their long awaited first international trip together to South Korea. During the first week of their trip on Jeju Island, Ethan got down on one knee and proposed in front of the sunset by the waters. There was no hesitation or thought needed from Leslie before saying "yes" to the love of her life. Now, the two cannot be more thrilled for this next chapter of their life together. They are excited to be able to celebrate their love with their loved ones on 6/16/2024!
