Happily ever forever!

Like many modern love stories, ours started on Bumble. Even though we’re both from Maine, life had taken Emily to Louisiana about nine years ago for her career. During a trip home to Maine, her sister convinced her to download Bumble — and fate stepped in when we matched! We went out on the 4th of July and instantly hit it off. Conversation flowed easily, laughter came naturally, and it quickly felt like we had known each other forever. We discovered countless ironic similarities and fit into each other’s lives so seamlessly that it just felt right. A few months later, I took the leap and moved to Louisiana to be with Emily — and the rest is history. On August 29th, she proposed at the Louisiana State Capitol, the very first place she took me when I came to visit. It was the perfect full-circle moment, and now we can’t wait to start this next chapter together.
