We started out as friends after meeting at church. When Israel moved to Austin for school, his mom helped him find a church to attend. Once Leslie found out he lived just five minutes away, Leslie started offering him food, rides, and friendship. After countless trips around the city, movie “dates,” and casual dinners, we just kept getting closer. Then, after six months of hanging out and a trip to the rodeo, Leslie finally worked up the courage to ask if he liked her; the rest is history.
