Friends and Family, We thank you for supporting us through the years. At this time we are postponing the celebration in California until a time where there is less of a health risk to our loved ones. We are bummed to not be celebrating this month, but know that the health and wellness of all of our loved ones is most important! We will be doing a very small ceremony in Pueblo and will be setting up a video link for you all to join from your home if you would like! If you would like to send a note to the bride and groom, please email it to erin.aldag@gmail.com or mail to Leslee and Byron at 479 West Golfwood Plaza, Pueblo West, CO 81007. We will transcribe all notes into a keepsake to remember this crazy time for years to come! We will let you all know when we set a date this summer. See you all in California later! <3 Thanks, Leslee & Byron
Leslee is Erin's mom. Byron is Chelsie's dad. Erin and Chelsie met at church youth group and summer camp and were best friends as they grew up! As Erin and Chelsie went through college, they talked about their parents and how they were both still not seeing anyone... Wouldn't it be wonderful if they got together? With a few planted ideas, Byron finally asked for Leslee's number. They went to the National Western Stock Show for their first date, and the rest was history!
Byron and his daughter Chelsie loved watching the Adams Family movie together when she was a kid. It was coming up on Halloween and Byron was getting nostalgic. He wanted to watch it but didn't have a copy, so Leslee invited him to her place to watch it. I'm not sure if he even watched much of the movie, because he had a beautiful engagement ring in his pocket the whole time, just waiting for the right time. After the movie, he got down on one knee and proposed. And the best part is, it was on the day of Leslee's parent's 70th wedding anniversary! A great way to begin.
