We met through mutual friends in college, which quickly blossomed into us becoming best friends. Time went by and we both quickly realized that we were inseparable and wanted something more than just friends. 6 years of dating later, we finally are heading to the alter!

In June of 2023, we took a trip to Italy. We started our trip in the most beautiful place we’ve ever seen, Cinque Terre, where Ella had zero idea that John traveled all the way there with a ring in his backpack. On day two of the trip, we had scheduled plans to go on a boat with Ella’s sister and her boyfriend, who did a great job of covering up the proposal. Prior to the sunset boat ride, Ella was starving and wanted to go get an appetizer, but John had other plans of stalling instead. Little did she know, John was in contact with a photographer who was scheduled to meet outside on a cliff overlooking the water where John got on one knee. Ella now understood why John was shaving his nose hairs and folding his clothes stalling, and she screamed YES! We were happily engaged and got on the most beautiful sunset cruise to celebrate. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Chicago!
