Like many modern love stories, ours started with social media and a mutual friend — shoutout to João Felipe for unknowingly playing matchmaker and bringing our worlds together in the most unexpected way (we guess we owe you one 🤍). After Marilise reached out (yes she reached out first!), there was an instant connection. From our very first time hanging out, we pretty much became inseparable. What started as effortless conversations and spontaneous adventures quickly turned into a love story built on friendship, laughter, and making memories together. Travel soon became one of the greatest parts of our story. Together, we’ve explored countless destinations — each one filled with new experiences, unforgettable moments, and lots of airport snacks. It only feels fitting that one of those adventures became the most special one of all: Alex surprised Marilise with a proposal in Paris, and she had absolutely no idea it was coming. Beyond traveling, some of our favorite moments are found in the simple things — discovering new coffee shops, exploring new hikes, working out together, spending nights at concerts, and creating a life that feels equal parts exciting and comforting. No matter where we are, our favorite place has always been together. At the heart of our relationship is our love for family, adventure, and doing life side by side. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of the people we love most, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us.
