We’re getting married!

It all started, as so many great stories do, in the slightly sticky, perpetually buzzing atmosphere surrounding Akron, Ohio's college scene. The connection between us was instant and undeniable, bridging two different worlds. We went from seeing each other sporadically to spending practically every single day together. Our presence in each other's lives became a constant—a comforting, grounding hum in the middle of chaotic college schedules. The transition from friends to partners felt entirely seamless, built on a strong foundation of shared laughter and mutual understanding. Then, a beautiful new chapter of our journey began when Leslyanah entered the picture. She was just four years old at the time, and watching that devoted father-daughter bond—and getting to share in it together—became a defining, joyful turning point. It sealed our fate as a family in the best possible way. Over what feels like a lifetime of years since, everything has changed. We’ve faced challenges, celebrated countless triumphs, and built a truly beautiful life side-by-side. But through all the growth, and all the shifts in our roles and titles—as friends, as partners, and as parents to Leslyanah—one thing has remained the steadfast, unshakeable foundation of it all: our friendship. That late-night, college-adjacent bond is what brought us together, what keeps us grounded, and what continues to define our story.
