What time does the wedding start?
Answer
The wedding starts at 3:30pm, but we kindly ask guests to arrive by 3:00pm. Please also take into consideration the road to the venue to ensure you arrive on time.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is smart casual – we want you to feel relaxed and enjoy the day with us. It might get a bit cool in the late afternoon, so feel free to bring something light and warm to stay comfortable as we celebrate until midnight (and beyond)!

Is there a place to sleep?
Answer
Yes! We have a communal area for 50 people at R150 per person. Close family coming from afar will have first choice of other sleeping options, but the communal area is available for everyone. This area includes private showers and toilets, with the beds arranged in an open space. Please inform Lerecia, and she’ll provide the banking details and share photos of the area.

Where are nearby guesthouses?
Answer
Kroonstad is a small town, so we recommend you drop "Vrystaat Safari's" on Google Maps and check the closest guesthouses in the nearby area. For more details, you can also phone Carol at 073 455 1282.

How far is the wedding venue from Kroonstad?
Answer
It’s just 11 km out of Kroonstad, so not too far at all!

What’s the road like to the venue?
Answer
There’s a couple of kilometers of gravel road (grondpad) to the venue, but don’t worry, small cars can drive on it just fine!

Are children welcome?
Answer
Immediate family may bring their children as arranged. Friends are requested to make special arrangements for their children, as we are not catering for children and this is not a child-friendly venue. Babies who are still breastfeeding, whether family or friend, are welcome to attend. Parents are fully responsible for keeping them entertained. For safety reasons, we ask parents to be extra cautious and supervise their children at all times around the swimming pool.

If any family members would like to arrange a babysitter for the day, please contact Lemencia on 073 765 3495. She can organise a babysitter for a small fee.

Answer
Please include your special song requests with your RSVP. Got a favourite tune? As the date draws closer, Lerecia will send a reminder for any additional song requests you may have.

What would you like for a wedding gift?

Your presence is the best gift we could ask for! If you’d like to give something, contributions to our honeymoon fund or a special gift for our home would be greatly appreciated.

We’re keeping things simple and natural, with shades of green, beige, and brown. We love greenery and a relaxed, earthy vibe, so expect lots of nature-inspired tones to bring everything together.

Unfortunately, no. Only the names listed on the official invite may attend the wedding. We’re keeping it intimate and can’t accommodate plus ones. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

It may be challenging to reach you on the day of the wedding due to limited signal, but don’t worry – you’ll be too busy enjoying the celebration to notice!
