FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress to impress, but keep it comfortable! Think semi-casual attire that’s perfect for dancing, mingling, or even a friendly game of cornhole (bags). No need for suits and ties—just no jeans, please.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Guests will have access to a spacious on-site parking lot. In accordance with venue guidelines, we kindly ask that all celebrations remain within the designated event areas and that alcohol is not consumed in the parking lot.

Question

Who should attend?

Answer

We kindly ask that only guests who have RSVP’d through our wedding website attend.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. If older children are named on your invitation, they’re welcome to join us—just be sure to include them in your RSVP. Need a sitter? We’re happy to share trusted local options like Carilly.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Please visit our travel page for more information.

Question

What should I plan for transportation?

Answer

Lakeland has Uber and rideshare options available, but we recommend renting a car for the most flexibility — especially if you'd like to explore the area at your own pace!

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

We’re normally “leave by 9” people… shocking, we know. But for the wedding, we’re going all in! Join us as we venture downtown Lakeland to keep the celebration going- 1961 rooftop anyone.

Question

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Absolutely, please let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Who can I direct my questions to?

Answer

Christine has all the answers! Nick is great for vibes and good times—but maybe not logistics.

Question

Why Shrek and Donkey?

Answer

Nick: a man of simple pleasures, minimal words, and a deep appreciation for peace and quiet. Christine: found him anyway. Talked his ear off. Wore him down. He's been smiling ever since, though he'd never admit it.
