Question

Will the wedding ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan on the ceremony being outside. However, being as it will be August in Minnesota, we have a back up plan to move inside should the weather not cooperate with us. Dress accordingly to the weather for the day.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes. But we didn't add them to the RSVP. Please contact Leonie Kolodge if you want to bring your children so we ensure we get food ordered. We want everyone to help us celebrate on our special day. We ask that if our younger guests need a break during the ceremony or during the more serious times of the reception to please bring them out of the room so it does not disrupt.

How late does the reception go until?

Answer

We will have the room until 12:00am. After that time, guests will need to leave the room. There is a cash bar in the clubhouse that will remain open until 2:00 AM if anyone wants to stay after.

What type of dress code will there be?

Answer

We are trying to keep our wedding as laid back as possible. We know that wearing your Sunday best doesn't always mean your most comfortable clothes. Put on your casual Friday clothes you would wear to work. Remember to wear your comfortable dancing shoes!!

Will there be a bar available?

Answer

Yes. There will be a cash bar available in the reception room as well as a full bar inside the clubhouse, which is just steps away from the reception room.

Can we clink our glasses to get the couple to kiss?

Answer

Absolutely not!! Just kidding, but not really. We are trying to move away from seriously boring wedding traditions. Instead of making us kiss to clinking glasses, we ask that you make a toast about us, share a memory (appropriate for all ages) or suggest a song to the DJ to play in your name.
