Pigeon Point Lighthouse
Growing up, Faith's family visited this spot frequently. While the lighthouse is currently being restored, you cannot miss out on the opportunity to go tide-pooling and or stargazing. This location has a beautiful and clean hostel and there is also a KOA nearby.
West Cliff Drive
The stunning and exciting location that is West Cliff! There is so much to see here in Santa Cruz that it can be challenging to decide where to visit. If you enjoy a little hustle, bustle, and local vibes, this is the place to go. This is where we had our engagement photoshoot and it was lovely!
Downtown Santa Cruz
As an avid window-shopper and trinket-aholic, Faith never tires of spending an afternoon downtown. And of course, she can not make a visit to Pacific Ave. without stopping by Bookshop Santa Cruz.
Mount Hermon Camp & Conference Center
While we attended Baymonte Elementary together, we never really connected until the summer of 2018. The first place we "re-met" each other was Mount Hermon Camp. We ultimately spent several dates at this beautiful campus and even visit it occasionally to play board games and drink tea at their cozy coffee shop.
Ugly Mug CoffeeHouse
A place we have frequented for boardgame dates, meetings with friends, and delicious drinks (of course). Faith's favorite is a jasmine green tea latte with oatmilk, while Devin will most likely drink a hot chocolate.
The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park
Beautiful Redwood forest hikes for all those who would like to get a taste of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Natural Bridges State Beach
Wow, who doesn't love Natural Bridges? Such a gorgeous beach, easy to get to, with a variety of habitats to enjoy. Faith could go on and on about this beautiful beach as she takes her students here once a week. Check it out and enjoy the beach, the Monarch Grove, and the tide pools!
