With the help of a cute King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, thanks Bentley, we met online and had our first date at Eddie V's in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. We both felt instant chemistry, there was good energy flowing, and great conversation getting to know each other, our interests, and learn about each others kids. The evening went so well we couldn't wait to see each other again.

Lucky enough to meet before and live through the pandemic together, we really got to know each other, our kids, and families very well. Leo surprised Joss with a weekend getaway at the historic Hotel Monaco in Washington DC. The weather in early July was surprisingly perfect for this time of year, it felt like Southern California! We had an amazing time exploring the city and finding new and unique places we've never seen before. The next day Leo surprised Joss with reservations at Marcel's, a Michelin Star restaurant in the city. We got the best seats in the house and they opened up with a "special" covered dish from the chef where the ring was later revealed and Leo got on one knee to propose. We toasted to start off the evening and had the most amazing dinner. Later got to celebrate with two friends who happened to be at the same restaurant. The special weekend ended with rooftop views of the fireworks on the 4th of July.
