I have blocked rooms for a special rate for both Friday and Saturday night Incase you want to make a weekend of it 😊 The rooms are blocked under the group name Leonard wedding and are reserved until July 10th. After that you can call and reserve a room with special rate if there is availability. Check in time is at 3pm which allows a good amount of time before the ceremony as the venue is a quick 5 minute drive away. Breakfast is included at hotel as well. Rates are $89 a night with group name.

Bavarian Inn

This is an option if you want to splurge a bit. This German themed inn is on the Potomac river with great views, an infinity pool and a delicious German restaurant on the property. I was not able to officially block rooms for the wedding so no discount is offered but you won’t be disappointed. Check in is at 4pm which only allows a short time before the ceremony but the hotel is on the same road as the venue so a very short drive to the ceremony. You might be able to get an early check in if you call day of but no guarantees. Rates are $255 a night for a river view room and $189 for non river view room. If you are interested, book your room early as their weekends book quickly especially during summer months!

Lyft is available for transportation to and from the venue as well as to and from downtown Shepherdstown so you can safely enjoy the reception and fun night life

Airport Information

The closest airport is Washington Dulles International. It is about 55 miles from the venue/hotel and takes just over an 1 hour to drive with tolls. You could also fly into Baltimore Washington International but it is a little farther away. It’s about 80 miles away and will take 1.5 hours to drive.
