Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4pm in the Costa Del sol Ballroom. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow time for you to park (unless you’re ubering or have alternate transportation), sign our guestbook, and find your seat.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is Semi Formal attire. For men, this might mean a traditional suit, or a long sleeve button down with slacks. For women, this means cocktail dresses or dressy pant suits. No jeans please!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by December 15th, 2024 so that we can have an accurate headcount for the venue and catering. If we haven’t received your RSVP by the specified date we will assume you will not be attending.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

January in Florida is typically beautiful and usually no rain. We are hoping for a perfect sunny day in the 70s.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be held outside in the central La Fuente Courtyard of the hotel. The Ceremony and Reception will be held inside the Costa del Sol Ballroom.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes we have blocked hotel rooms for our guests right at the Renaissance hotel. We have room blocks from Thursday 1/23/25 through Sunday 1/26/25 You can book here though this link. https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1707917961435&key=GRP&app=resvlink (Copy and paste link into web search bar) These room blocks are first come first serve! Please book your rooms by December 27th 2024.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We would love for our guests to stay with us at the Renaissance, but if not there are plenty of Hotels and Airbnb options in the area if you would like to stay somewhere else! Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is complimentary self parking at the hotel! If you would like Valet parking, it is $15 a day and $30 overnight.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests and family invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us for the Wedding day! But, we will be having a Cash Bar at the Welcome Party the night before.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving hors d’oeuvres throughout the cocktail hour and we will be having a plated dinner at the reception with the selection of chicken, filet, salmon and our vegetarian option; mushroom ravioli. We will also be having late night snacks at our after party!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes! The only request we make is to please put your phones away during the Ceremony! We have hired incredible photographers and a videographer to capture our ceremony and would love for you to be present when we say “I do”. However, please feel free to take photos throughout the evening! There will also be a Photo Booth present inside the ballroom During the reception!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our future together would be sincerely appreciated. There will be a Wedding Card Box in the foyer near the Ballroom!

Is there transportation? How do I get to your venue?

Answer

For our out of town guests, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the Tampa International Airport to the hotel. The shuttle runs daily from 5am-11pm, every half hour. Guests must call 813-877-9200 for shuttle.

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please! However, we are requesting you avoid the first 2 rows on each side of the ceremony for our immediate family and bridal party. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
