Over-The-Rhine
One of the largest, most intact urban historic districts in the United States! Be sure to check out Findlay Market and any of the many fun shops, restaurants, and bars. Findlay Market
A year-round indoor farmers market where Claire's great-great grandmother shopped for her groceries and yelled at the meat-man.
The Banks
A great area with a wide selection of restaurants and bars, as well as the Reds Stadium. The AC Hotel is located in this part of town. Accessible via the Light Rail.
Smale Riverfront Park
A lovely outdoor park with swings, a carousel, and play areas along the river. Fun for adults and kids alike! You can walk across the Roebling Bridge, designed by John Roebling, who later designed the Brooklyn Bridge.
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center
One of Claire's favorite museums in Cincy. It's a very moving and educational experience.
Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal
A beautiful example of Art-Deco Architecture, this train-station-turned-museum hosts multiple museums, an IMAX, and play spaces for kids!
Cincinnati Art Museum
Attention SCAD Grads!! Located in Eden Park. One of the oldest art museums in the United States.
Krohn Conservatory
Full of plants!
Cincinnati Zoo
The second oldest zoo in the United States. Claire and her mom (and family) both grew up going to this zoo!
Newport Aquarium
Right on the Ohio River at Newport on the Leeve (a great area with shops, restaurants, etc.)
Skyline Chili
This is Claire's stranded on a desert island meal. There are many locations throughout the city!
Graeter's Ice Cream
The BIGGEST chocolate chunks you will ever find in ice cream. Seriously. Go. There are many other locations throughout the city!
Montgomery Inn The Boathouse
Delicious barbecue! There are other locations, but this is closest to the venue and has riverfront views.
