I met Anita at a music jam session in Newton senior center. When I saw her I fell for her then and there. She has a beautiful voice, is pretty, and has a lovely personality. Reaching out by email in October 2023, I gave her my telephone number and for one year there was no phone call. You cannot clap with one hand. I waited. It wasn't easy. In October 2024 I invited her to join me for lunch at Guildford Station Pub and she came. After lunch, she suggested walking in a park located next door and I joined her. One month later I invited her to a dinner and dance at the Kennedy Seniors Center. I discovered we both like to dance. One month later we had another dinner and dance in the same center. Our relationship grew intense and blossomed. We walked at Crescent Beach and other nearby parks as often as we could. Within two months, I proposed to her but she was not ready for a commitment and asked for time to gather her thoughts to make a decision. Both of us went for individual counseling sessions followed by two appointments we did together. Anita went for a one-day prayer retreat at Brooksdale Guest House at A Rocha on the 7th of March and we had lunch the next day. It was there she slipped me a card. I had a quick look and put it aside. After about 30 minutes she asked me if I had read the card. I had a closer look and noticed a large triangle with the words GOD at the top, LEN on the left, and ANITA on the right side of the triangle. In the center was a heart with the word YES. Then I realized she agreed to marry me. I burst out crying with tears of joy. We decided on a marriage date of June 21, 2025. I know that GOD was in our midst and helped out with our decision and the preparation. We have received lots of help from our friends. Thank you JESUS. LEONARD
