We are getting married!!

It began on an ordinary winter day, early 2023, during our first year at Christ for the Nations. We met on a volleyball court. A glance, a spark, neither of us knew that moment would become the first page of a story written by God Himself. Our friendship blossomed as our group of friends began spending a lot of time together throughout that year. A thought sparked in Leon’s heart… “I could love her forever.” Later, Stephany, too, began having feelings for Leon. Together we walked through seasons of waiting, of letting go, and of learning to trust God’s timing more than our own. In the stillness of prayer, our hearts were quietly being shaped for each other. We didn’t find love by chasing it — we found it by surrendering to the One who is love. When God’s time came, everything became clear. What once was a hope became a promise — a love built not on chance, but on calling. And so, on November 6, 2024, the chapter of our courtship began. The months that have followed have brought us greater peace, purpose, and the clarity that God has blessed our relationship. From the volleyball court to this altar of forever, we carry with us the laughter, the faith, and the unwavering love of the One who brought us together. Thank you for reading our story. Nos conocimos en una cancha de voleibol. Una mirada, una chispa… ninguno de los dos sabía que ese momento se convertiría en la primera página de una historia escrita por el mismo Dios. Nuestra amistad floreció mientras nuestro grupo de amigos pasaba mucho tiempo juntos durante ese año. Un pensamiento nació en el corazón de Leon… “Podría amarla para siempre.” Más tarde, Stephany también comenzó a sentir algo por Leon. Juntos caminamos por temporadas de espera, de soltar, y de aprender a confiar más en el tiempo de Dios que en el nuestro. En la quietud de la oración, nuestros corazones fueron siendo moldeados el uno para el otro. No encontramos el amor persiguiéndolo — lo encontramos al rendirnos ante Aquel que es amor. Cuando llegó el tiempo de Dios, todo se volvió claro. Lo que una vez fue una esperanza se convirtió en una promesa — un amor construido no en la casualidad, sino en el llamado. Y así, el 6 de noviembre de 2024, comenzó el capítulo de nuestro noviazgo. Los meses que siguieron nos han traído mayor paz, propósito y la certeza de que Dios ha bendecido nuestra relación. Desde la cancha de voleibol hasta este altar de para siempre, llevamos con nosotros la risa, la fe y el amor inquebrantable de Aquel que nos unió. Gracias por leer nuestra historia. ¡Esperamos que te bendiga tanto como tú nos has bendecido! それは、何気ない冬の日のことでした。 2023年の初め、私たちが Christ for the Nations に通い始めた一年目の頃。 出会いは、ふと立ち寄った バレーボールコート。 一瞬の視線、そして小さな火花。 その瞬間が、神さまが綴ってくださる物語の最初の一頁になるとは、 まだ誰も知りませんでした。 その年、友人たちと過ごす時間が 増えるにつれて、 私たちの間には静かな友情が 花開いていきました。 その中で、レオンの心に 小さな想いが芽生えます。 ――「この人を一生愛せるかもしれない。」 やがてステファニーの心にも、同じように レオンへの想いが宿り始めました。 私たちは共に、“待つ” 時を歩み、 “手放す” 時を通り抜け、 そして自分たちのタイミングではなく、 神さまの時を信じることを 学んでいきました。 静かな祈りの中で、 私たちの心は少しずつ、互いのために 形づくられていきました。 愛を追いかけたわけではなく、 愛そのものであるお方に委ねた時、 愛はそっと私たちのもとへ訪れたのです。 そして神さまの時が満ちたとき、 すべてが美しく整えられました。 かつてただの“願い”だったものは、 “約束”へと変わり、 偶然ではなく、使命によって結ばれた 愛となりました。 そうして 2024年11月6日、 私たちの交際という新しい章が 静かに始まりました。 その後の月日がもたらしてくれたのは、 さらなる平安、目的、そして 神さまがこの関係を祝福してくださっているという揺るぎない確信でした。 バレーボールコートでのあの日から、 永遠へと続くこの祭壇の前に立つ今日まで—— 私たちは笑いと信仰と、 そして何より私たちを 結び合わせてくださった 神さまの変わらぬ愛を胸に歩んでいます。 私たちの物語を読んでくださり、 心からありがとうございます。 どうか、この物語が読者の方々にも 祝福となりますように。
