❤️Our story began when my brother mentioned Leon to me one day when we were talking. He stated a few things about Leon that interested me, and I told my brother to give him my number. Well, a weeks went by and surprisingly one night Leon texted me. Well, we both would say it wasn't love at first text. 😁 We texted back and forth for over a year before we met on a Sunday evening in June of 2019 in Calabash, N.C. We had dinner at Ella’s of Calabash and the food wasn’t the best, but the company was good. We barely ate but talked the evening away. During dinner, a couple walked over to our table to inquire about the food. We told them this was our first time there and that we were not impressed. As they were leaving our table, they told Leon, “You have a beautiful wife.” We immediately corrected them and informed them we were just meeting for the first time. They insisted they could not tell and gave us their blessings and that we looked as if we’d known each other for a long time. Then from that date, Nyiah and I attended a family cookout with Leon in Wilmington around the 4th of July that year. This is when I first met his boys and family. On December 7th, 2019, we officially called ourselves a couple and I insisted that he kiss me to seal the deal. 😘 If you asked me, what do I love about Leon? I would say, his SOUL! Leon has a gentle heart and I always feel safe and secure around him. We can turn an ordinary day into a day of our own adventures’ findings-#MakingMemories. Leon and I love to cook together, work in the yard/garden, hangout with family, go out to eat, see a movie, ride the Harley for some wind therapy, take the boat out, travel, go to local festivals, go to the gun range, etc. Together, we've discovered that the best adventures are the ones we create with each other, and we feel so grateful for our partnership. Join us the summer of 2025 as we say, "I do" and kick off the next phase of our life together with all our favorite people. We're SO excited to share this day with those who've been a part of our journey! We have a lot of fun together and the rest is history. Our journey was not a typical one. We have come together and put a lot of faith in each other, God, and our future. But it's our journey and it's led us to decide on FOREVER! ❤️
