It was love at first swipe! Well, something like that. We met during the pandemic through the magic of Tinder. After matching on the app and exchanging messages for a few days, we decided to take things offline and meet for coffee. We met for the first time at First Village Coffee in Ossining, New York on February 27, 2021. What could have been a quick coffee date soon turned into four whole hours of us shopping at the local farmers market, admiring church architecture, and walking along Sing Sing Kill, a nearby stream famous for it's double-arch bridge. Since then, we have traveled to new places, moved twice, and really started building our life together. We've also been back to our favorite coffee shop quite a few times, most recently on December 13, 2025. In true Tim and Mel fashion, we once again decided to peruse the local farmers market, and we even took another stroll along Sing Sing Kill. But this time, once we passed the double-arch bridge, Tim got down on one knee.
