FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP via website or mail before ASAP and by August 1st (or bring a chair and a sandwich!) You can RSVP via our website. We can't wait to see you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Darn! We hate to tell you but we are having an adult only wedding. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us and will enjoy having a night off. Report back soon for information about babysitters!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Listed on your invitation is the number of guests allotted.

Question

How did you make the Invitations and Save the Dates?

Answer

Hilary's exceptionally talented sister Ali is owed all the credit for the creation of the amazing art on the save the dates and invitations. She tirelessly sat with Hil and painted two different flower cluster drafts. The flowers are her own watercolor that have been scanned and positioned.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

YES! Saturday, October 19th there will be a beach day at Pismo beach. We can reminisce about the night and bake away the hangover. Bring your competitive pants because we will play a beach softball game - a Stoner/Jimenez tradition alike.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 20 minutes early to the ceremony. If lateness runs in your blood please arrive 45 minutes early.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Gifts are certainly not required! If you feel inclined to give a gift, we are registered through Zola and Crate & Barrel. All the registry information you need is listed under the "registry" tab above.

Question

What is the significance of the cootie catcher?

Answer

When they first started dating, Hilary worked at Boys and Girls Club and would make all sorts of crafts. One day she came home with a love cootie catcher for Leo with little inside jokes and love notes. Leo kept it in his wallet for ages (until Hilary put his whole wallet through the washing machine). Thus, cootie catchers have a special meaning for the two.
