Downtown Flagstaff
Downtown Flagstaff is a historic district filled with shops, restaurants, and breweries. For those interested in the historical significance of the buildings in the area, there a both walking and biking tours that shed some light on the city's past.
Lowell Observatory
This is an observatory with 6 open-air telescopes and more inside the building. Tourists and scientists have access to the facility and it's a great place to see stars and planets without light pollution from a big city!
Museum of Northern Arizona
Arizona is home to 21 federally-recognized tribes of indigenous people and many more that are not recognized. This museum brings their culture to life and shows the important contributions indigenous people have made on Arizona and America to this day.
Snowbowl Drive
This is a beautiful hike around the trails that people ski on in the winter! In the fall, it's a great place to see nature and the leaves changing colors.
Wupatki National Monument
This monument is a great example of pueblos where indigenous people would live their lives in the dry, hot desert. They were able to raise future generations here and the pueblos show the resilience of the many different groups who called this area home.
