Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-tie Optional: While gowns and tuxes are preferred, formal dresses and dark colored suits with ties are also welcome. Ladies, we warmly invite you to embrace vibrant and colorful attire, kindly avoiding black to reflect the joyful spirit of the occasion! *Please note: Because the ceremony is part of a solemn Nuptial Mass in the Catholic Church, we kindly ask the ladies to please maintain modesty by bringing a shawl or similar item to the Church in order to cover any thin strapped, sleeveless, open back or low cut gowns. Thank you!

Question

What time should guests arrive at Sainte Marie's Parish? Where should guests park?

Answer

Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the Nuptial Mass to allow time for parking and seating. There are two parking lots on either side of the Church. If additional parking is needed, guests may park in the parking lot of Holy Family Academy which is located to the left of the Church.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures during the Mass?

Answer

Since this ceremony is part of a solemn Nuptial Mass, we kindly request that all phones, cameras, or other recording devices please be turned off throughout the entirety of the Mass. Our hired photographer will capture these special moments, and we will be sure to share them with you! Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we would love to include your little ones on our special day, we have decided to keep our wedding adults only with the exception of siblings of the bride. We hope that you will understand our decision and still be able to join us on our special day. We encourage you to use this as a date night out and appreciate parents making babysitting arrangements ahead of time!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. In order to share a personal and meaningful celebration, we are inviting only those formally named on the invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation.
